I honestly couldn’t recommend Pam enough, as she is the easiest person to talk to that I have ever encountered. Pam has the ability to listen and then to gently ask you one or two questions which open up a lot more within you. My counselling has totally changed me and I feel like I can be just ‘me’, I feel alive rather than plodding along in life, without her help and guidance I would not be the person I am today.

What will you achieve from coming to counselling and receiving therapy?
Counselling is a talking therapy that gives you the opportunity to talk about your past and current problems, exploring your thoughts and feelings in a safe, comfortable environment free from judgements and preconceptions.

Some of my Areas of Therapy Specialism
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
A therapy that helps you manage problems by enabling you to recognise how your thoughts can affect your feelings and behaviour.
Person Centred Therapy
We work together to understand your experience from your perspective. We will discover your natural self healing process where you decide what you want in your life, trusting your own judgement and living your life in line with your own values, rather than those of others.
Transactional Analysis Therapy
Through therapy we will work together to discover your own problem solving behaviours, whilst helping you to develop skills and tools for finding solutions that work for you.
Management of Depression and Anxiety
During therapy we will spend time uncovering your anxious and depressive thoughts and feelings you experience. You will learn to acknowledge, accept and challenge them so that you can understand the likelihood and reality of these deep rooted thoughts and fears and develop strategies to feel more in control.
